Last night when we went to bed, my husband left a box of chocolates sitting out on the coffee table. Little C found them this morning when he got up. He came into my room, his face smeared with chocolate.
I asked him, “Little C, did you eat some chocolates this morning?” He knew the answer had better be “No.” Just a few days ago he got in trouble for eating all the chocolates in K’s small Russell Stover sampler box.
“No, mommy, I didn’t eat any chocolates.”
“Little C, there is chocolate all over your face. Don’t lie to mommy!”
“I’m not lying, mommy. Come here, I’ll show you!”
When we went into the living room, the box was there on the table, full of chocolates, just like it was last night. And yet, something was different. The chocolates seemed unusually shiny.
“I didn’t eat any chocolates, mommy! I just licked them.”
What a funny story! Don’t you just love being his mom???
How funny!
LOL.. too funny.. sounds like he may need a lesson on ‘commanders intent’ 😀
BTW, you asked on JT400 about Geneva Bible — I really like ours. I think you can get them cheaper at american vision than vision forum but I’m not 100% on that.. you’d have to look. The footnotes are great to have. I find myself reading them as a whole page just as if I were reading the verses all together!
God bless,
Sallie
